Mayor
Elected at-large for three years. The mayor is a member of the City Council and presides over it; the city is run day to day by a City Manager the Council appoints.

City Council
The mayor and four councilors, all elected at-large. Councilors serve two years; two are elected each March. The Council chooses a Deputy Mayor from its members, and also meets as the city's Liquor Control Board and Cannabis Control Commission.
